Will Dada prove his worth?

Sourav Ganguly is remembered as the one of the most amazing and aggressive captains of Indian Cricket. He made Indian cricket team a force to reckon with, which later Kumble and now Dhoni transformed to the maximum effect. India is the number one test team now. Everyone agrees that Ganguly played the most vital role in preparing indian player's attitude for the kill.

The batsman in Sourav was devastating, when on song. Almost every team felt threatened by his batting and more so by his captaincy. When SRK roped Ganguly for KKR, the vision was to make KKR the leader. But unfortunately, due to reasons beyond Ganguly's control and also upto some extent beyond SRK's control, KKR fumbled to the last position in the last IPL.

IPL 2010 appears to be different for KKR. There is no confusion behind the scenes. So far, there is no fake player, making the team management sweat. Also this time, Sourav can confidently say, "Ganguly would be the captain for next match of KKR," when asked in the match interview. This tells a lot about the confidence of Dada as well as the composed management of KKR.

In the first two match, KKR has decimated the last year's finalists very comfortably. The third match is against the third semifnalist and the finalist of first year's IPL, Chennai Superkings. But KKR under Dada appears confident enough to lift the cup this year.
